No kissing on first date?

I have a first date with a guy next weekend and I am very attracted to him, but I don’t want to him to kiss me on the first date. I do want to kiss him, just not quite yet.
Should I let him know this before the date, or will I seem egotistical for assuming he would even try to kiss me in the first place?

I'd wait. He doesn't need to know you have a "timeline". In fact I think having a timeline is kind of flaky so I'd probably think you had some kind of hangup if you told me. Just be genuine with your feelings and you'll be fine. Also it's not a sin to take your time.

U can ask like.. do u always kiss on the first date?
Then tell ur thoughts bout it and tell him that u want to kiss but not on the first date
