Yes it is okay but not suggested one should take it slow and kissing should be done once you know the person well enough.

Absolutely. But it doesn't have to be a tongue swapping, face eating kiss.

There were two times when, after a first date and I walked the girls home or to their car. When we were about to part, they turned, looked up into my eyes, put their hands on top of my shoulders, rose up on their tip toes, and gave me a tender kiss that made my head swim.
It was very sweet and set the stage for more passionate kisses after our second dates.

Ofc it’s okay if both want it. Basically anything is okay on the first date as long as both want it.
Personally though I would wait until later, like third or fourth date.
