Can I block these women on Facebook who keep messaging me about a guy we all have dated? I feel uncomfortable and told them I don’t want to talk?

There’s a FB group I’m in where we can ask if we’re dating the same guy since we live in a huge city. I didn’t message with them for like 1 whole day and they asked me if I’m doing ok. Like wtf. Anyway, these women and I have been messaging for like over a week about it but I really don’t want to talk about this anymore. Maybe a couple days are fine to talk about these sorts of things, but I’ve moved on. I don’t think the convos are productive and just venting about how much we dislike the guy. I am really not sure how to handle it. I messaged them that I don’t want to talk about this anymore and they keep continuing the convo and talking about if any of us have STDs and it’s just weird. This one girl is mad that the guy took me to really expensive places and asked me to be his girlfriend and I’m 26 and she’s 35. The guy is 39. Anyway it’s weird again like I said and I don’t want to engage with these women.

Women are sweet on their own, but when they get together and gossip they turn into something evil.

Probably best to get away from the angry mob and do your own thing.

Exactly. I feel like it’s not a productive conversation after a certain point. I don’t think these women have lives. Like I’m trying to spend time with my family and do some job interviews lol. I don’t have time for this.

sometimes I feel like gossip is a tool that manipulative people use to control others. Some guys can be the same way. I actually had to lie and tell two guys that I moved away just so they would leave me alone. I couldn't handle their negative nosy attitudes and how they always wanted to dump their issues on me. I didn't want them in my life still bringing me down when I start a new relationship with a woman.

Misery loves company, and they're very concerned about you possibly moving on and finding happiness, away from them or even worse, possibly contacting the guy that they're all so obsessed with.

@ryandeal009876 well I for real can’t deal with them. I don’t even know them! And not to be rude but from the looks of their profiles and contexts of how they talk they don’t seem to be crushing it at life. I prefer to have association with women who have things going for them and thriving (ie a job/career, kids or family, etc)

I get it. The guys I've been avoiding all weird to me.
One is divorced and he talks about his ex-wife to me like I'm his therapist, but I don't always feel like being his emotional sponge. Sometimes I just want to be happy.
the 2nd guy is married and has a nice life, but he's an asshole who doesn't want his wife and he wants me to drink with him. The 3rd guy is way out there and I think he has drug problems. Either way I don't think it's bad to cut ties with people who annoy you.

It’s basically just venting at this point and seeing who else he dated, etc and I’m not finding the convos productive. Also one girl sent him extra small condoms in the mail as a prank.
