u +1 yAnytime, anyway, anywhere really.
I met my wife because of my hatred for the St. Louis Cardinals. She'd just moved to the area. We were out to breakfast with some mutual friends and the Chicago Cubs had just won the World Series. Someone at the table was wearing a Cardinals ball cap or t-shirt or something. I was in the middle of a gleefully condescending rant about how much greater the Cubs were than the goofy Cardinals. She walked in in the middle of that, having recently moved here from an area where they are mostly Cardinals fans (she's not from St. Louis). She didn't like that too much.

+1 yIn person, once had a great boyfriend that I met literally waiting in line for an amusement park ride. We started talking a lot, decided to go on it together and spent the rest of the day going on rides together and even went swimming together. By the end of the day, was decided to stay in contact and we dated for awhile after that.

+1 yI meet women while grocery shopping. I simply ask them about how to make or cook something and they are pros at it and eager to discuss it. Also, in a grocery store there are a lot of people there so it is a safe place to meet. Sometimes I will go shopping and have just a few things in the shopping cart as I am there to see if I can meet someone new. When I do it can turn out to be a free date.
00 Reply 2.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. If you are into board games, Table Top RPGs, or card games like Magic the Gathering, you can try your local hobby shop. Some of them have game nights for specific types of games and you could potentially meet someone with the same interests if you happen to be into that stuff.

+1 yI'll assume you are looking for a guy. When you are at the hardware store, as your "target guy" a question about lock washers, flat-head screws, or ball peen hammers. When you are shopping, have him help you lift the big watermelon into your cart. Work at the neighborhood Food Pantry, Habitat for Humanity, Dog Rescue, etc.

Anonymous(36-45)+1 yis always options , the places your thinking of would be the types of spots your not really expecting to meet someone.
i've never really meet anyone at a thrift store when shopping but always see girls there so i guess its possible
it depends what your interests and comfort level is , as to where else you could potentially look

+1 yIf you want to meet people you have to get out & greet people. A city park, amusement park or a grocery store or a home improvement store is another place you can meet people as well. Sign up for a 5k or sign up for a walk in your area.

Opinion Owner+1 y@HippieVeganJewslim temple also I should have stated religious gathering places.
- +1 y
What’s the difference between that and temple? A temple is a house of worship, but some masājid are outside. A masjid doesn’t have to be a HOUSE of Islamic worship, but a PLACE of Islamic worship.
