And now she wants to be in contact, when i needed her she turned her back on me. Constantly judging me and i had to move out early and no w she wants contact after 6 years of not

Decision is yours to make. Do you carry a grudge or do you be there for your sister that may need you at the very moment, essentially doing the same thing to her that she did to you. I know family difficulties are hard but it’s a difference of if your pride is bigger than trying to gain knowledge of her perspective on why things laid out the way they did when you were younger

@Kileo123 totally understand and I don't know you really to make such a huge judgment but I think there’s usually two sides to every story and I think at least hearing her perspective and then deciding if it’s something that you should continue investing into is better than being prideful because you are hurt.

How can you even tell when the last time you associated with her is years ago? In the end it’s up to you, it’s your life, BUT smart people can some perspective on a situation before completely Xing out a situation. I don’t know her, I don’t know you but there’s two sides to every story. I mean would this question be a question of yours if deep down you weren’t curious about just gaining that perspective?

I would say if you don't want to be in contact, then don't.

If you do want to be in contact, just be careful and be clear about your boundaries. To be very clear I'm not victim blaming, that sucks what happened to you. But moving forward as an adult, you can very much take more control and responsibility for what you will allow and won't allow in terms of interactions with your sister.

Reference: I have a lot of siblings and some are easier than others, but the important thing is to be consistent with them and not let them walk all over me. People will do what we allow them to do, and if they get consistent boundaries then they will know better what they can get away with and what they cannot.
