Those guys and girls weren't cool or smart or nice. Yellow isn't ugly, but it really depends on the shirt and the setting. Lighting really matters. If you're wearing a yellow polo shirt and navy slacks and having lunch in an outdoor cafe, it'll look great. Yellow hoodie in a club with weird lighting might look horrific.
