If it's a "walk" then no, would kinda depend on how you put it together in that message and how you're acting through / handling that walk. Don't overthink it.

Friends ask each other to go out for a casual street walk / shopping trip all the time, gender-blind.

If it's a date you seek then I believe it will be - automatically / subconsciously - elaborated during your time out. Unless you're a good actor.
