Should I ask him if he’s still got feelings for his ex?

this guy who I’m currently talking to started following his ex on insta. He asked me out 3 days ago and I said that I’d love to but I’m having family problems at the minute etc but I’d love to see him soon. He followed his ex after he read that message I sent him. Maybe he felt rejected or something and that’s why he started following his ex. He looked at my Instagram profile today so he’s clearly interested in me still. I was thinking of contacting him tomorrow and suggest seeing him but I’m feeling threatened about his ex being in the picture. I really want to ask him if he’s still got feelings for his ex but I feel awkward doing it. I don’t want to look paranoid or anything but I don’t want to pursue this relationship until I know for sure that there’s nothing going on. I think he’s only contacted her because he’s feeling insecure about me but I just want to make sure there’s no hidden feelings still there. Should I question him it?

Yes. This is legit question. He gets all emotional and reactive then there’s your answer…. Attack is an offensive move but primarily a defensive reaction.. self-protection and intimidation
