There is this young woman in my young adult singles church group named Lindsey. She is a short, petite girl. She is in school studying to become a Physician's Assistant (PA) and has one year left to go until graduation. She is the shy type, and when I see her at church events, she is usually with a group of other girls. I would say she is in her mid 20s, or at least approaching her mid 20s.

Do you think she has ever had a boyfriend before? Also, do you think she is probably a virgin too?

No way to know any of that. Shyness doesn’t equate to single, just like being a churchgoer doesn’t equate to purity.

Do you think there is a good chance? I saw her at a church event yesterday and she was with her female friends. She made eye contact with me, gave a straight face, then looked away. Not even a hi.

These things are just too generic and not good indicators. Like hanging out with her friends, being shy, going to church, nothing about this says “no ex” or “virgin”. But really it shouldn’t matter. If she’s a good, sweet girl then you shouldn’t judge her for her past. That’s not what church is about anyway..
