She displays a lot of common traits of a narcissist. For example, she is very controlling and jealous of any attention I get from other females. She has given looks to waitresses. Last but not least, she gets off to other people’s pain. Today, we witnessed a car crash and someone in disbelief because they had wrecked their car and my girlfriend started to laugh at her and called her stupid because it was her fault obviously. It was minor but her car was wrecked.
On the contrary, she is very respectful to me. She treats me amazingly. Cooks for me. Cleans after me. Kisses me and literally showers me with love. What can go wrong?

We were in the car as she was laughing so the other girl didn’t hear her laughing at her or even see her.
I am dating a narcissist but why is that a bad thing? What can go wrong?

Narcissist are notorious for love bombing. But once they trap you then they switch it all around on you. They start fighting with you over every thing. They're are always upset, you didn't even do anything or you did such a small thing that they perceived it in such a paranoid angry way that they demand an apology and they'll torture you over it.
They gaslight, manipulate, control you. If she likes other peoples pain which is very disturbing and such a red flag, then she'll enjoy your pain as well. The only important person for a narcissist is themselves and they'll easily screw over anyone else. They have the lowest self esteem and they're just a pathetic bully.
Once they start treating you like crap you'll miss their sweet kind personality and you'll work hard to please her unnecessarily crazy demands working hard to get that to be happy again and be treated nicely again. She'll make you work for it and probably not be nice after or be nice for a little bit but immediately go back to complaining and hating everything.
They'll make you feel like you are the crazy one when you call them out on things. (Gaslighting). If she says something really mean like "I hope you die." She'll immediately act like she didn't just say that, try to act like she didn't say that, say something like can you blame her when you don't treat her the way she deserves to be treated and then call you crazy. You can't have a normal healthy discussion or any form of communication with a narcissist. They are always right. They very rarely apologize.
What "could" go wrong is already wrong dude, but you don't want to accept it because it hasn't been directed at YOU yet. She treats you like she does because she doesn't have anyone else to love/like her due to her personality traits. She doesn't want you to leave because she'll lose your attention and whatever illusion of admiration you already give her, plus it would be a blow to her ego (which she would rationalize away quickly, but still, it's the idea that anyone wouldn't want her). I question whether she's actually "loving you" or using the traits of love to manipulate you.
Narcissists don't change, so it's only a question of how much time is remaining on the bomb before it goes off. Everything you observe her doing to others, and treating others, will come your way eventually. But a better question is - even if it doesn't come your way, are you OK to BE WITH this person who treats others so poorly, and who laughs at their pain, and who is openly possessive of you and jealous of what I'm sure are the smallest amounts of attention you get? Do you want to share a life with someone like this, and have her be part of your circle of friends? Would you be, or are you "proud" to say "this is my SO" or "my girl", right now?
@Asker That’s exactly how they pull you in. They start showering you with affection, gifts, etc, but the moment you are no longer supplying their needs or they get bored, they’ll start to be more and more demanding.
They know you can’t leave because they have emotionally tied you down, so you keep giving into their demands. If you break up with them, they’ll give you living hell. If they get bored, they’ll still give you well, but odds are not as bad.
I’m sorry to have to tell you this, but you need to run. It’s easier said than done I know, but trust me, it’s only going to get worse from here most likely.
Well it's a bad thing because when she decides it's over with you she will destroy you if she can just because she can with no feeling or emotion. I'm talking false allegations made against of domestic abuse, harassment, stalking, death threats, rape, sexual assault, theft you name it. One thing you notice about narcissistic women is they've always a tale of how their ex boyfriend was an abusive monster.
Enjoy it while it lasts and know that true narcs will ghost/remove their affection from you. Just don’t knock her up and you’ll be fine after some therapy.
Oh yeah I love that Quote it’s off of every great movie What could go wrong 😂 and every time that Quote is said Things go wrong. Makes the movie so much more interesting.
