That's like asking should women give 20 year old guys a chance-

If there's a connection and you like each other? Sure! The contradictions with dating nowadays irks me: no one bats an eye if a man dates a younger woman. But heaven forbid a man want to date someone older than they are-

She's either broken, something's wrong with her, or considered a "cougar." And looking at your age range, you're in your mid to late 20s. So dating someone in her 30s isn't that bad- nor do I think anyone would notice to be honest.

It is his choice. I think he should base his decision based on his own quality/value compared to the value/quality of men he would be competing with for that same woman.

If one person has a past of casual sex, don't expect a person that doesn't to be interested in a partner like that.

If one person doesn't have kids but does want some, don't expect a good quality man to be interested in a woman past 30 or a woman to be interested in a man past 50. (For biological reasons to have healthy kids.)

If a person has a past of drug use, don't expect to get a partner that doesn't have that kind of past.

If a man is short (under 5' 10") don't expect to get a girl that the tall guys often go for.

If a woman is fat, don't expect a guy that is in decent shape to be interested.

Basically, don't expect to get a partner that is more that one point of quality above your own.

For me, I was married in my 20's and most of my 30's so I don't necessarily feel threatened by 30 year old women who never settled down. No matter how high her bodycount is, there's no way she's had as much sex as I did just being married.
