Is there still a point in getting married?

In my experience half the women I've dated have been narcissistic, lack common knowledge, are completely unreasonable despite showing facts, and based off what I've seen are very unloyal thee days. Is the American dream dead?

Yeah, it's not pointless. From what I've always heard from my family, marriage is a symbol of the love between two parties. And I think I lot of people are forgetting about it.

For starters, if you're going to marry, it needs to be with someone that you trust, picture a future with, and deeply like them.

Not all women are like the ones you've dated, the same way not all men are pervy cheaters that only think about themselves.

I wonder though, how long does it usually take for you to get into a relationship with someone.

If you just rush through the getting to know phase, you could be signing up yourself for something catastrophic.

There's still nice people, but you can't expect a relationship to work out if you usually simply go to a pub, hookup with the first attractive girl u see and already get into a relationship next day. (just an exaggerated hypothetical scenario)

The best way to be sure that person is someone who's suited for you, is to be friends with them first and get to know who they truly are first. This way, less deceptions will happen. (usually)

There are still good women out there with good morals. You will mostly find them at a Christian church and not out partying, going to clubs or bars. So yes there is still a point in getting married if it's something you truly want

Marriage is like a hurricane there is a lot of blowing in the beginning & when it’s all said & done your house is gone. On the other hand with marriage there are three rings. An engagement ring, a wedding ring & suffering. As for me I have never been married, I don’t plan on getting married & I’m not stupid enough to get married & if I did I would make sure a prenup was in place. Honesty from all the people I talk to say about marriage they say the bond was stronger when they were together unmarried.
