These days, what's the use of getting married?

Question

Reading a lot of what women are writing, also seeing what the women worldwide's opinions are, i came to this conclusion:

Women these days are like:

1. Cook for yourself

2. Clean your own sh*t

3. I ain't doing your house chores

4. The decision ain't yours, if i say no than it means no!

5. You can't have sex anytime you want, it depends on my mood!

6. Even if your my husband, you aren't allowed to touch me without permission or i'll consider it a sexual assault or rape

7. The decision of wether our baby will live or not is my choice, i don't care if your pro choice or pro life, my body my choice!

8. Any mistake, i'll dump you and file for divorce and you will lose everything but i'll LET YOU see your kids once or twice in the weekend

9. My money is my money and your money is our money or each one has his own account!

10. You can't tell me what to do or what not to do, i ain't a kid! I can have my male friends but you can't have female friends because you men are like animals only think about sex!

The list is endless 😂

So who in the hell STILL wants to get married, unless you find a woman from another world or came from the past 🤣

One more thing: babe! We have to break up because i don't have feelings for you anymore, i feel like i felt out of love! 😅

You’re taking what some women say and applying it to all women…

A real relationship…

1- cook together or take turns cooking… and people that use that excuse they don’t know how, well that’s a crock… these days anyone can make an edible meal if they really WANT to…

2-3- again clean together or split the chores…

4-decisions that affects both parties or the whole family (if kids involved) should be discussed and agreed upon together…

5-sex should be a want not an expectation… this is where some men fail, if you make a woman feel loved and desired, and if you take care of her sexual needs instead of just thinking of your own then that wouldn’t be an issue…But men that think women should perform sex or sex acts on demand, yeah that ain’t gonna fly (not with me anyways can’t speak for others)

6-I hear men SAY that but women I know aren’t really like that🤷‍♀️

7-it takes two to make a baby, it should be the decision of both whether to have the baby or not…

8-again something SAID a lot on GAG, but that don’t make it truth🤷‍♀️ just the men on here trying to paint women in a bad light🤷‍♀️ I sure didn’t divorce for that… more because he thought he could control me, tell me what to wear, where I could go, who I could and couldn’t talk to, not to mention the physical abuse… but no some guys on here want to portray women as divorcing men for no reason and that’s just a bunch of BS…And why don’t men on here mention the men that think the minute you aren’t with the mother they have no financial obligation to the Children?

9- just because one female on here said that (yeah I saw that post) you didn’t mention the other replies where women said handle finances/financial decisions together or the ones that said his money his and mine is mine, no you jumped on the ONE reply that said his money is our money and my money is my money, so now ALL women are like this…smh🤦🏼‍♀️…

10-whatever happened to married couples having married couples as friends, solves this problem…

I could make a list too but I don’t generalize all men by what some men on here SAY…I go by the individual man himself and HIS actions/character… Maybe more men would have less problems with women if they learned to do the same thing, just food for thought🤷‍♀️

This is an internet site, most people on this website have been hurt in some way and are a just a tiny bit bitter about the whole relationship thing, so I wouldn't put too much stock in what some people say on here or other similar sites. A lot of the questions/comments seem to be biased towards broken relationships, poor behavior, and very few posts are by people who are having a successful relationship/marriage.

That list actually applies to the MAJORITY of American women.

If she isn't providing 50%of all financial need, including providing 50%of the house, then don't pitch in on any of the work around the home. Most women now are lazy, selfish, and hypocritical.

And statistics actually prove some of what you posted to be true in the USA.

Honestly, this whole list reads like a very stressed-out woman who had the absolute worst day at work.

1. But why would you not want to cook for someone? I can understand if one partner needs to work on their cooking skills (or because they don't have any) but at least help them out so 1. You don't get food poisoning & 2. You don't burn something. Last thing you need is smoke alarms going off.

2. I at least agree cleaning your own messes that you've made. Don't let them clean up after you all of the time, otherwise they'll get tired of it and frustrated.

3. Housework can be split if there's a lot to do.

4. You both work on making a decision. Unless you're ordering Wendy's, then it's individual.

5. Actually, it depends on both of your moods. If it's one-sided, then it sometimes might not happen. Unless the partner not in the mood doesn't mind doing it to make their partner happy.

6. If you don't like being touched a lot, just say so. No need to be aggressive. Communicate when it's ok if you aren't a touchy person.

7. It's both of your decisions. Both consented and must come to a conclusion of whether to abort or go through pregnancy & birth. Unless the woman has something that they'd know wouldn't be good for her to go through a pregnancy.

8. Unsure what to say. (sorry)

9. You either both share an account or you're separate.

10. You either both have friends of the opposite sex, or you don't. Just hang out with friends you know are partnered and problem solved. Jealousy & insecurity is killed now.

Remember: When you're partners you are a team, so work at it. And figure things out, together.

A healthy marrige to a good woman is great for a man. The problem is, there are few good women anymore, half of marriages end in divorce, women file 80% of them, end men get screwed in divorce court and child custody. If all of those things are considered, it's hard for a man to justify the risk anymore.

These women are picturing a husband when they say this, not a lover. The husband we picture in our heads is Homer Simpson - someone who piles all the chores onto us because of his incompetence.

But in reality, if you marry someone, you'll want to share everything and you'll want to do things for them. You really think that if a wife became pregnant she'd immediately abort it?

No, marriage is dead. In my locality, the courts have decided you are married if you are with a girl for two yeas. So you have to dump her before you clock up two years..
