Should I text hook to see if we’re still on for our date?

Hello! I’m new to the dating scene as I’m recently single lol this guy I met on tinder asked me out on a date Thursday. Tomorrow is Thursday lol last time we talked he texted me how cute I was over the same things we were geeking out on. I said I’m excited to geek out on the same things Thursday! Yesterday I didn’t hear from him and I’m seeing he’s not in my tinder match list anymore, even though we text at this point and we don’t use tinder to message. What do y’all think? Should I follow up with him or consider my self ghosted?

It can't hurt to ask. But don't directly ask if it is still on. Maybe ask about some of the details of when and where you are meeting up.
