How long should I wait for a text back after our first date?

I went on date with a guy i’ve been talking to and today was our first meeting. Very casual, got coffee, and chatted for one hour.

After we left, I waited for him to message me first but he never did. The reason why I am not texting him first is because I initiated for us to meet up.

I did notice one red flag during our coffee date. After an hour went by he asked me if I needed to leave soon, sounding as if he wanted to go home.

How long do guys take to text back the girl for a follow up or possible second date again?

Just text him. He's probably thinking the same shit about you... I mean think about it. If you want it to work then text him. Something as stupid as "Hey, so did you like me?" It could spark the conversation you two need to have.

This whole play-games stuff that you younger people have doesn't make sense to me. Just find out firsthand if he's a dick or just not interested in you... chances are though he's just like you and being too sheepish to just do something. I could be wrong about that, but at least find out.
