How long should I wait to text him after a fight?

I had an argument over text with my boyfriend (it’s mostly caused by texting miscommunication) and I’m the one to text first the day after every time. This is day 2 and it’s been the longest I’ve gone without texting or calling first. What’s different is he hasn’t deleted me on social media and I can tell he is checking if I maybe removed him or our picture. He still has me there. It’s day 2 and I will try to hold back from texting. How long is a good time for us to cool off and communicate again? Serious answers please. Thank you!

Communication is key as I found out in my relationship, as I found out the longer you leave it and the more you think about it the worse it gets. You need to talk about it with a relaxed mind if you go expecting a fight that is most likely going to happen just keep an open mind and talk slowly about it with him in a serious but non-aggressive manner, meet at a café or something, somewhere public were you'll have to keep your cool and you'll both be more likely to not raise your voice which can escalate things. Hopefully in this situation things should be settled in a relaxed manner.

It depends on you and when you feel like you both cooled down and you are willing to take that step.
