"Why."
There ya go! You're welcome.
Anyway Andrea, the answer is, no one else is entitled to your own money, and you are not entitled to give to charity to losers who can't sort their own life out or have better priorities in their life.
What "a living wage" is, is highly subjective. Some people think owning an iPhone, having cable TV, and buying a new PlayStation, is all a part of "living" and that their wages should cover that. That is the problem, right there. And I say this as someone who grew up with less money than ALL OF YOU motherf*ckers! I dumpster dived behind fast food places for dinner, so I don't want to hear sh*t from y'all about "a living wage." If we're being real, a "living wage" would cover rent, utilities, and MAYBE a basic flip phone for communication, and that's it. And yet most of these adult babies are whining from social media on their $1,000 smartphones made by eight year olds in Chinese sweatshops. Piss off!
If Jeff Bezos was really THAT big of an asshole, no one would work for him, and his company could not sustain itself. You can't CHOOSE to work for someone, then whine and bitch about how bad the job is. Just quit then! No job is worth being treated like a slave and losing your mental or physical health over! I don't even like billionaires of Jeff Bezos either, but the last time people tried Occupy Wall Street in 2011, we got the creation of social justice warriors, cause people are just that stupid and easily distracted.
No, the real problem is, people nowadays want the world to wipe their ass for them, instead of taking personal accountability for themselves. I would rather be, and have been, homeless, than work for a job that treated me like dirt and ate away at my mental sanity. I would rather move back in with my abusive mother, than be a wage slave for a sh*tty overpriced apartment in a literal toilet of a city like San Francisco where studio apartment rent is $2,500 a month.
And I guarantee you I made less money in most of the jobs I've worked, than these adult babies whining about billionaires not buying them a new iPhone cause theirs has a cracked screen. Most of my jobs I made less than $12 an hour. Grow the f*ck up, you babies!
And the second image there, is saying that people are dumb and lack accountability, like I said, because even basic grade school math of explaining how 33% is more than 25%, is too complicated for them. If they can't understand that, how are they going to understand the economy?

Those aren't connected, if this was your question.
The second is just stating the McDonalds competition failed, as the avarage consumer can't deal with fractions and their product though cheaper, failed as the majority couldn't understand a ⅓ is bigger than a ¼.
The other is describing the problem in many countries, where the lower class is held down while the richest 1% gets even richer. So while the avarge joe working at the amazon warehouse is struggling to pay rent and his other bills, Jeff bezos is buying a yacht so big it can't leave the Harbour.
But instead governments walk up to him and demand he is paying his fair chair in taxes, people of any kind are just telling the avarege Joe to cut back on his few "luxuries".
Are you asking if a blue collar worker can’t understand size proportions at the end of an 18 hr exhausting day (cause you know, stuff flies over your head in a grueling work schedule) they don’t deserve a full, fat, earned, paycheck?
Your question is a bit murky here.

Essentially, the responder is stating people are generally dumb; as such, the responder will not argue with people online. Note 1/3 is larger than 1/4 but because 4 is bigger than 3, people though 1/4 is bigger.
Now, to explain why the first question is unrealistic:
Paying for rent is essential. Lattes and Avocado Toast are not; you can downgrade, save, and pay for essentials.
As for the requirement to pay all employees at a living wage, that's not how the current economic structure works. Companies get into business to make a profit, and they save money by cutting costs including employee income. They pay as much as is necessary.
You are paid what you are worth. If you have unique talents and specialties, you will generally get paid more money.
The real reason is so much simpler than anything economical; it’s the about the value added. The people buying lattes and avocado toast are creating a need for other people to take jobs as low skill laborers to serve lattes and avocado toast. The guy buying a yacht is at least putting money into an asset that retains some value
Because 1 is a smaller number than 99, so when it comes to organising and representing your class interest you will have an easier time of it when you are the 1% and have plenty of resources to aid you than you will if you are the 99% and are currently trying to find somewhere to live on less than a living wage.
Because. They’re corporations. They want to make as much money as possible.
Corporate Greed.
I worked for Firestone a $300 Billion Corporation. They could afford to send me to a 4 year University. They think a 50cent raise is being generous.Corporation's pay as little as possible and you are expecting to adjust your living expenses to live off of it.
The second part is that people are dumb. They don't know how to do simple mathJust like the young girl on GAG that thought abortions should be allowed in the fourth trimester! She must not have paid attention in math class either!
Here's how I'll explain it to you like a kindergartener. "If you don't like the wage you are being paid, get another job".
Cause people be dumb.
Well, the first one makes sense to me.
The stores still get richer
Most people are STOOPID AF!
