Would you ever date someone who couldn't speak your language?

Yes, I have but she Could speak “Asian choppy and every third word right English. I speak the same skill set Thai then…. We two were better than a TV 📺 show…I wish it was recorded as choppy Thai and choppy English spoke perfectly in our private moments 🙃

My parents met each other not knowing the others language. Mom was french, dad was from afghanistan and only knew English.
Fast forward they have 8 kids together and have been married 40 years.

Might take a little work, but they are living proof that it's possible

I've been learning German for a few years, have been around a bit, and when THAT look happens between two people, nothing should get in the way of potential love. I would, and I'd immediately switch to studying her native language.

Someone who doesn't speak it fluently? I might try, certainly. I can't guarantee I'd be gung ho about learning another language myself since it is perhaps my weakest skill. If we had no language in common at all, probably not.
