Why do girls date just because they like the attention?

I've noticed that girls don't really like the guy but they like the attention and that's why they are dating. I think it really sad because in the end, it results in break up when the attention isn't the same.

Women give guys a chance, hence why they may not be attracted to the guy at first but can grow fond of them irrespective of the lack of initial attraction. You have to respect that not dates will lead onto relationships, as if there is no initial attraction and there is no spark when dating, the girl will move on. I don't see anything wrong with this to be honest.

Guys sleep around with girls they have no intention of dating, so it kinda works both ways.

The question was not about why girls give guys chance. It was about why girls keep on dating eventho they are not into guys. Sleeping around and dating are two different things.

I rarely come across women who carry on dating even if they don't like the guy. Hence why I mentioned that such girls are hoping some spark may happen and date away until this may happen, or just give up in the end if it doesn't happen.
