Does my boyfriend not love me anymore?

He no longer seems interested when I talk about my problems with my parents he doesn’t try to comfort me as much he just changes the subject it seems like he’s out of words to say. And yesterday for the first time he seemed irritated/annoyed to my playfulness (I was smacking his butt) and I thought that I heard him call me annoying in the car he doesn’t usually seem to find me irritating but it seems like he’s starting to so that worries me.

It can get old hearing nothing but problems and drama. Getting texts like that. This is where one gets 👻. At some point people collapse under too much of others’ junk.

If he's declared his love for you, then it may not be that doesn't love you as much as he may be exactly what you've written: he may not be interested in your problems with your parents (and, yes, he may truly be out of words, especially if this is a common topic for you). He may be irritated with what you think is playful (my wife used to do this with what she called "teasing" and it was obnoxious). He may be annoyed. Here's the thing: most of the time, where there's smoke, there's fire. Maybe it isn't as bad as he thinks it is but maybe all of this isn't nothing the way you write in your post. If (big if) you both "love" each other, then it's time for a conversation. And in that conversation, you have to be ready to hear some hard things. Maybe he doesn't like your playfulness. Maybe he's tired of your parents' problems or doesn't want to hear about it so much. You have to talk this through. He needs to be wiling to accept you as you are but at the same time you don't have to be you at full volume, so to speak, all the time. Less playfulness, less parents' problems is okay -- that doesn't invalidate your identity.

I don’t see how that should trigger an angered reaction tho. I don't know maybe I’m just a different type of guy and my temperament only gets triggered by things that aren’t with good or light hearted intentions
