if he’s actually depressed and has been neglecting you then I would tell him how you’re feeling. If he wasn’t aware of it he would then try and improve. Be there for him and support him through his dark times. If he doesn’t change even after you communicated the issues with him let him know that you’re thinking of splitting up because you can’t go on like this.. Never just split up because you’ll hurt him and if he’s a good guy you might regret your decision.

it’s also possible that he’s talking to someone else and he’s waiting to be sure they like him for him to split up with you.

Yeah, I've tried talking to him, at first he was like "I hear you, and I'm gonna sort it out", but yet there's no change. He still takes longer to reply than before, conversations has gotten shorter... Whenever I ignore him completely, he blows my phone up until I talk to him.

I don't know if he's really depressed, but I'm sure he's not in a good mood, stressed.

Mention it again and let him know that you’reunhappy. You need to sit down and be honest with yourself and see if he’s meeting your needs and wants. If he’s not doing anything to help himself then you’re only wasting your own time because until he wants to change himself nothing will happen. Sometimes walking away temporarily could push him to change

He hasn't been very productive with work and is currently waiting for some news.

He told me he has been depressed this morning, after disappearing for the whole night and went to sleep early. I think he was exaggerating a bit, cause he didn't want me to get mad at him for not replying.
