Be honest would you be honest and tell a guy you're not interested anymore or just ghost him?

There was a time when I was a younger, immature, and deeply insecure version of myself that is guilty of ghosting. In part I think I liked the attention and conversations and when I no longer needed that I focused on the one I’d date.


At this point in my life, I strongly believe in being transparent and honest always even if it’s uncomfortable. So I would tell someone if I was unsure of my feelings currently or if I didn’t think those feelings are developing like I thought they were. I would tell them that I value both of our time and feelings. And it’s okay for things to not work out. It’s okay to be sad about it. It’s okay to remain friends and it’s okay to have space. We are not for everyone and that’s okay.


At lot of people have a hard time and feel incredibly uncomfortable with peaceful confrontation or upsetting another person by being honest. So they just don’t, they avoid it altogether and seek attention elsewhere. I can also see how there are some individuals that maybe created a situation that can scare someone from such conversations because of the reaction.


I have had men interested in me, but when things don’t go THEIR way they’ve insulted me, called me names, harassed me and even threatened me… so there’s that aspect too.
