My wants and needs are very blurry right now, and as a result my goals are too. I’m just trying to meet and socialize so I can see what naturally occurs. I wouldn’t, because that’s just his fluffed up way for saying he isn’t looking for anything serious, then three that razzle-dazzle at the end to make it look like there’s a glimmer of possibility. There is not, and you will find yourself finessed, in bed with him and then gradually ghosted if he doesn’t do it all at once. It’s super predictable behavior, and if it hasn’t been long that you’ve known him then backing out now would spare you getting your feelings hurt.

OK you know he had a prior and it didn't end happily for him. I don't think it was such a bad answer in saying that he wants t see how things develop with out forcing things.

For me anyway, if I wanted a girl then I've wanted to be with her. Very quickly. That's always clarified wants and needs for me. I have never wandered around thinking I want a relationship. its been meet a girl, want her and a relationship follows.

For a guy regular sex and relationship mean the same thing. For me anyway. My wants and needs are fairly simple. Sex and some love from my girl. I will probably think about the relationship later on. We know if you get us hard straight away because well we have a hard cock. Difficult for us to miss. Hard and happy go together like a... etc.

Hard and happy is fundamental. You might makes us happy with a smile or a welcoming hug/kiss and we respond with getting hard because you have made us happy with that hug/smile.

I really do think you are over thinking this. Maybe he has been burnt previously. But you aren't that ex who denigrated him every time she could. Quite probably he is over thinking too on what he doesn't want.

The very critical question is do you want him? Does he want you? Then you have business together. I think at this point you are jumping way ahead of where you are and need to try it out more than you have..
