How often do you say I love you?

I like to say it during intimate or romantic settings.
My girlfriend gets mad when I don't say it back, but she literally says it all the time and I don't want it to lose its meaning. I don't want it to mean hello or goodbye, or be made to feel guilty when I don't say it.

I say it everyday to my wife when she leaves for work and when we’re hanging up on the phone. One time when I was at Verizon wireless, an older lady customer overheard me say I love you to my wife on the phone and hung up. She said do you always tell her you love her? I said yes ma’am I do. She said that’s wonderful. I’m glad. Because you never know if that could be your last time with the way this world is going. I said thank you and you are definitely right.

When I was dating my White ex I never said it because I never felt it. Now that I'm married to a Filipino woman I say it 5 times a day and I feel it non stop.
