Girls, Would you date a guy with no past relationships who stayed single to resolve childhood trauma from parents?

I had monsters in the name of parents. I had been subjected to beating , burning and so much anyone can even imagine of. However I am dealing with them. I am total opposite. I know how it's like to be in that situation , I help others with mental health and volenteer in animal shelters. Besides that I am well educated , have a master's and continuing further education.

My biggest fear is if any girl get to know about this , they will leave me. Honestly I have never known how it's like to be loved by someone.

No! That just seems like WAAAY to much baggage! If the guy has had not one single functional relationship in his life, he probably won’t make a good husband! Look, I am looking for a life partner, not an emotionally stunted or damaged project. If you are too afraid to tell any woman about this out of the fear that she would leave, then you need help. You need therapy tho work through these issues, to allow yourself to heal. It is completely unfair to expect a woman to be able to deal with YOUR issues, if you haven’t dealt with them yet!

Yes. It shows you took charge of your life and your own mental health, there a lotnof people with deep seated demons rhey refuse to address and wonder why their relationship don't work. It take a strong person to focus and live themselves first before trying to love someone. If you don't live you, how can uou love someone else? I think what you did was great for you and any girl who can't understand that isn't worth dealing with.

I don't think you should share this with your partner. if you moved on from this trauma and you're sure that it won't affect your relationship then leave it buried in the past... instead show her the person you are now.

I have a lot of trauma I was beaten, burned, hit by a car and motorcycle, raped, and more I wouldn’t because I’ve been through it. It makes us stronger and more connected on a level most don’t understand.
