The line between confidence and showing off?

I'd say the question seeks for itself. How can you tell if someone is a showoff or is genuinely confident in themselves?

A confident person is not afraid to self-market given their accomplishments match their professions. They also act, with consideration, when a decision is presented to them. A confident person is remarkably different from an impulsively responding person.

Confidence means healthy self-image. Arrogance (showing off) means they think they are better than other people.

It is where the sense of self-value comes from: deep within or refracted off of other people's downfalls.
