On Welfare - but at least college education, possible to return to work

On Welfare - at least college education, but not likely to work again

Educated - Diploma level - eg trades job

Educated - Bachelors and above - engineering. Etc

I'm surprised as of right now Dec 12th 27% of people voted for people that failed high school & are on welfare. Just proves those 27% of people have no standards and are failures in life themselves.

Unless someone has a legitimate reason to be on welfare - and there are plenty of scammers on the system - people on welfare are typically alcoholics, druggies, lazy, criminals, etc. Add in failed high school on top and you couldn't find more gutter-trash partners.

I don't have an issue with failed high school. I know someone who wasn't a wiz in high school, but he's pretty successful now. So failing high school doesn't necessarily mean anything.

On welfare, no. Is he working? If he is, why is he on welfare? Is it temporary or has it been going on for a while... and if so, why?

Their job doesn't have to be a major one, just enough so they are independent
