Is it a good idea for a girl to move out of her home alone in India?

My friend knew somebody who was beautiful in India and committed suicide. She might have been targeted by rapists. Most of the Indian girls I know were molested as children. Not by their dads but by neighbours or family friends.

So better to be in public and don't go in late night

One must have respect for parents who raised you, fed you, took care of you...
