I asked my crush out but I asked her that it was up to her whenever she is ready to let me know as she is an introvert and she replied with sure but i have not got any text from her since then and it's been a week now.

The only 2 answers is see to your question are that she is not ready or that she forgot about you asking her out.

In both cases, it does not sound very good to you as her lack of reaction is indicative that she has probably lost interest or that she is simply not ready to confront you.

One week can seem long for someone that is waiting for a reply but not long enough for someone that is undecided.

My personal opinion is that she is not very enthusiastic about going out and she hopes that by now, you have forgotten about her and that you moved on.

It is fine with me as i have no control over anyone and it's their choice but i was hoping that there might be something as we know each other for a long time. Tbh it is heart breaking but who knows maybe she is not interested or maybe she is not ready for that as far as i know. We are co workers which i did not mentioned so she is super nice with me even after asking her out but she did not say anything regarding of me asking her out. If she is a co-worker, then the situation is even a little more complex. One should never start anything with a co-worker because of the potential problems at work. Yes she is in a higher position than me, that is why I am thinking I should stop it after this as it is going to be really awkward at work.

Lead. Introverts need a leader. Pick two options and one time-date. Present. Give her a minute BUT do not leave without a decision. If she is unsure then talk it out with her via a couple sentences. Then direct her and make the Choice.

She will change once she trusts you. Until then, make the decisions on her perceived best interest. You'll be fine
