Asking her out?

There's a girl at my church whom I've kinda liked (and I have a hunch that she kinda feels the same way) for a while and have been wanting to ask out. The problem is that she's with her group of friends often and it's hard for me to find an opportunity where she's isolated.

I've heard suggestions like maybe talk with the group for a bit then say to her "hey, do you mind if I speak to you real quick?" Or go sit at the table where she and her friends sit (which isn't my nature and I'm not very inclined to do so).

I'd like to hear some suggestions like maybe message her on social media because we only see each other once a week on Sundays and there are days where we don't attend church simultaneously and could be a couple weeks before we cross paths again.
