Should I ask her out?

This girl, 24 and Swedish and works with me as waitress, and I'm a line chef. Few days we didn't talk, but 2 days back we talked quite a bit and complimented my work. Also, she said that I'm funny and smart. She also asked me for some help with her stuff clearing out the glasses, which is not much work and could be done by her alone. At one point, she wanted to box with me. She's really cute and thoughtful. Later, when we were closing, the manager put me in the worst situation possible by asking me if I could date her, while she could both see and hear us clearly. I shook my head to no. She didn't say anything and left, but kept her cool after that. Should I ask her out? I am thinking between going out for a coffee and ice skating.

I am 26, never had talked to a girl other than work.

I didn't get asked in front of her by the head chef... try in front of her dad and another waitress, who I'd rather f**k... I picked the other waitress as even a few drinks deep I'd bet he'd have swung for me

Workplace romance is riskier but higher risk equals higher reward generally speaking. It’s better to date people you already know and mature people can date someone they work with…. Break it off and still be civil with one another.

I would ask her out and tell her you’re sorry you got put on the spot and felt embarrassed. You saying no if she’s someone who has respect for you is going to respect that…. And probably isn’t going to make a move.

I would assume there’s interest and she possibly asked someone else to ask you. Now just talking to someone you work with isn’t always a sign of romantic interests as people talk just to pass the time. But….. if you want a shot. I would do it now because she will probably move on.
