Me and my current boyfriend started off just sleeping with each other casually, however feelings were obviously developing on both ends. I assumed he was just seeing me since we took an obvious liking to one another beyond sex.
He had posted the back of a woman's head on social media but since he has a large family I thought maybe it was a sister of his. Unfortunately, I had found a purse in his bedroom and he lied when I confronted him about seeing anyone else.
Before he told me that he wanted to be in a committed relationship with me, he ultimately fessed up that he stopped seeing her so that we can became official, and that he did in fact sleep with her while seeing me, but that he cut that off because he couldn't see it with her.
I've tried so hard to move past this and we've been together almost a year now. I try to be understanding that it was just something casual at first, and that we weren't exactly official so he was well within his right to do what he wanted... but I feel extremely jealous and hurt that he would have sex with someone else while he had feelings for me, and he also admitted he made love to her how he did with me at the time. I dont know how to not take this personally, or how to stop feeling so insecure. Am I being too stubborn to see this in any other p. o. v? Thoughts? I don't know how I'd move forward from this.
