That’s what happened here. Asking for your number and giving you a chance is not a binding commitment or relationship, so you shouldn’t take this as though you’re being dumped by a girlfriend. Maybe the disappointment is what’s getting to you, especially around this time with the holidays it gets lonely. But you’ve got to pick yourself up.

It’s not about being fair dude, she’s just not that into you. Sure you can be one of those guys who won’t accept no for an answer and keep trying their luck every few weeks but let me just say it does not work. I have a few men who have orbited around me like that for years and just won’t stop popping up, even though I’ve explained my rejection, and even though I’m in a full blown relationship going on a year now. It’s pathetic, don’t let that be you.
