Why is it so hard to find a woman who is single and my age that I don't find boring?

If you just wanted a geeky girl then that wouldn't be too hard but you're asking for professionals in fields women typically do not take interest in.

I'm not a professional in those fields either, I have the talent, skill and comprehension for them though, just not the need for mass attention or the budget for the pricier science projects.

Those are just the types of people I enjoy gaming with, talking to, and collaberating with. People on that level rather than specifically in that profession.

A girl who merely has the skills, interests, hobbies, knowledge, and desires that are associated with those things, is more than enough to be a perfect match.

That makes your chances a bit better but those women are hard to find. I sympathize with you because the type of women I like are highly unusual and usually have no trouble finding a mate pretty quickly.

Because instead of growing with each other and getting to know each other, people expect to know pretty much everything about a person before they choose to date.

Of course they do, dating is something you do when you find a person attractive physically and mentally.

You can't expect a guy to want to date you when he knows almost nothing about you.

Agreed.. but people are taking to it the extreme today.. they literally want to know like 99% of a person before. Then when they decide to date they already know everything about them and get bored. Boom. Done

I want to know 100% about her before dating, so I can know that (assuming she is being truthful) I'll NEVER get bored of her (if she is like me mentally, I'll never tire if her).

Personally, I just like to know the fundamental values and that they aren't lazy lol it's fun to date and learn their hobbies, ticks, and how they are along the way :)
The problem is that most people and their hobbies change as they age and mature.. which to me means, never assume anyone will always be or not be boring :-]

I'm in my 30s, if she hasn't been introduced to gaming by then, she's living a very rural life, and we would not match for that reason.
