How do we lie? Some guys lie about everything and I mean everything. People like this, if you get to know their friends, you will find each of them have a little different take about same events he has shared. Girls lie too though.

I think all people lie sometimes but maybe, yeah, guys lie more to have sex with women. I guess it is low self-esteem.

Any answer to that depends on the very specific circumstances. Some lies may be because a guy is a jerk. Other lies may be to avoid hurting her. Others may to avoid looking stupid. Context matters.
