So I've been in a long distance relationship for about 8 months now and my partner is getting ready to move to new state for work. I would like to move closer to her for our relationship and really like the place she is moving to. I can move pretty freely due to the nature of my work.
She likes this idea however is super hesitant about having me move just for her. I've tried to explain I'm ready for some where new to live and would rather be closer to her than further. We're not looking to get a place together but separate homes. I feel like she's putting a lot of of pressure on herself about be moving there.
I understand it is a lot of pressure however its also my own choice to move there as well. Also it's hard for me not to see this as a Yellow flag for the relationship If she's scared of the idea of moving closer.

She probably feels pressure so you need to let her know that it is flexible for you to move and really want this to move to the next level whatever that is. Long distance shouldn't go forever and the 8 month mark is the best place to move closer and just go for it. Waiting won't change anything.
Thanks for that insight
