I selected wrong twice, do some of us just suck at choosing men?

Twice I got it all wrong. Twice it led to a break-up, twice my time gets wasted. Twice I find out they weren't the right ones. Both of them misled me.

I've tried going for the ones that hate parties, have fewer friends and we have more things in common. I still got it wrong and one of them even lied (he presented himself as someone different) about liking some thing just to get me.

Do some of us just truly suck at vetting men? I don't know what to think anymore.

I don’t think it’s about sucking at picking men in every case. Some women really do their best to date with intention and end up disappointed, I know I did many times through my 20s. It’s all about the journey and what you take from the experience. Personally I learned a lot about my preferences and what I will and won’t accept. Now I’m in a relationship with someone who aligns with what I want in a man, but he came after and of frogs.

The question you should be asking before all this is, do you like yourself? Do you want to improve yourself in someway? And are you prioritizing yourself and your partner above all else?
You have to be happy with yourself first before being happy with someone, this is the main reason most relationships turn sour quickly.

I've noticed something in common in both relationship that may contribute to possible not being taken more serious; I was being too available for them practically at all times. I guess no one likes that... when you're being too sweet and show availablility too much.

Twice isn’t a lot of times. You weren’t even married to these guys or had kids. I know guys that have been divorced 3 or more times. Multiple kids. Still can’t find someone.

Basically I get lied and mislead by even the ones on the lower barrel too... I don't know what to think anymore.
