If a guy you just met for 3rd time does a goodbye hug is it a good sign?

For our 2nd lunch and 3rd time we met when we walk at metro he hugged me before I left
We met online and then met in person
When we met online he said he doesn’t think having romantic relationship with me but we didn’t net yet in real life. He was doubtful about meeting I guess ! but when we first met he asked to meet again and again and the on the last 2 and 3 meeting he hugged me goodbye
Is he taking it slowly or maybe not interested?
I don’t want to rush this since we still have to meet more often to get to know each other more..
He asked to meet again this weekend

You have to evaluate the type of hug. Generally speaking, a hug is both a physical and emotional expression to the other person. It is meant to be a bond forming activity. To determine whether, warmth, friendship affection , or love is case specific and related to the intensity of hug.

At the very least, in some way, this individual appreciates you. So yeah, that's a good start...
