I've recently started hanging out with this guy I think I might like. For context, I'm 17F and he's 17M.
Every time we hang out, or even when we stop by each other in the halls and talk to each other, he always hugs me afterward. It's not like a side hug, either, it's a full-on squeeze hug, every time. Even if it was like.. a 5-minute conversation.
Is he clingy? Touch deprived? Or does he just like me?

Normal for some cultures. I'd be doing the same if people around me were not so... averse to embraces (or hugs, as you call them).
Background to it? To protect and warm up another's body - and to sense the heartbeat or muscles shaking/trembling from fear. To get to know one another without excessive talking/verbalising
