Is there ever really a chance that she hasn’t seen my text?

So I was at the gym yesterday and this girl caught my eye and I kinda feel like I caught hers too I swear we made eye contact once or twice. And decided to very awkwardly shoot my shot she gave me her number. And I short her a text later on in the day after I’d gotten off work which in hindsight was probably a bad idea. Anyway I never got a reply. Should I try shooting another text on the chance she didn’t see my first one or just take the L. I had thought maybe she gave me a fake number but it’s definitely her number.

I don't check my messages on WhatsApp everyday when I've been too busy or I'm trying to avoid someone but don't want to let them know that I'm active, so I don't check anyone's messages. Sometimes I read messages in the notifications but don't feel like responding because I'm too exhausted or distracted.

Now I don't know that girl, just give it few days. 2-3 days. Maybe she is busy, so she either didn't check her message or wants to reply when she's free. If she doesn't in the next couple of days, it's safe to say that she isn't into you or broke her phone (unlikely)

If she truly liked you, she got your text and she read it. I know that whenever a guy asks for my number, I eagerly await his call or at LEAST a text from him. Although I personally prefer a call from a guy I just met, I am still on the look-out for a text. So whether she liked you or not, if she gave you her real phone number, she definitely saw your text.

Lol responses from woman about these types of topics and men are often very different. So much more hopefull, so I gave it about a day then I just deleted the message tbh. Ig every girl is different but where on are phones so often nowadays that I find it hard to believe that she didn’t see my message at all at some point especially if she was really interested but I could be wrong. Some guys said she was probably just being nice to get rid of me but I heard that if a girl asks for you’re name or something personal that’s usually a good sign of some level of interest. I don't know I’ve thought about my shooting another text in case maybe she really didn’t see that first one cause I did send at an awkward time of the day or maybe she didn’t have time but I don't know if I should just leave things and keep my dignity or give anothe Nudge

That's up to you, but no matter when you sent the text, she would've seen it in her alerts the next day. The only thing I could possibly think is if you send it really late at night and you woke her up... maybe that upset her? But I doubt the "ding" woke her up! But what the hey, give it another shot, it can't hurt.

So ig has a feature that lets you follow people from you phone contacts, since I had a new contact when I opened ig I got a notification to follow someone new from my contacts when I tapped it it was the girls profile from the gym. So I put two and two together

Oh when I went up to her yeah that was kinda bad I asked her if she was in the middle of a set which I had to repeat cause she couldn’t hear me 🤦🏾‍♂️

I asked if she was single she said yeah and I asked for her number and her name which she gave me both and asked for my name. She seemed interested despite my awkward approach. But guess I was wrong

I asked the question cause I did text her at like 9pm at night cause I was at work all day so maybe there’s a chance see didn’t see the text but the likely hood if that is slim let’s be realistic
