My friend was like you need a better tv like a 4k and 120hz however I have a rca hdtv 1080p so what should I do it looks good and still works?

Unless you have a 4k device attached to it, it won't change a thing, as the input will be HD anyway.

The TV can only display what you feed into it.

If you have a 4K device, like 4K HD Blueray or PS5 you would need a new 4K TV to use it at the full potential.

However for stuff like Netflix//TV//Blueray//... the current setup should be sufficient as it is, so keep it until it breaks.

Yeah but my hdtv can do both 720p and 1080p on my hdmi consoles so it's awesome

There is nothing that great on Tv anyway. Just keep the one you have until it dies.
