Is It normal to feel sad when you reflect on your dating life? Also, not really go on dates at all within the past 2 years?

A friend wanted to know more about my dating life but it awkward when she started telling me if I have been in love or had girlfriend's. I just stay quiet mostly & never say anything because I never dated anyone in my life. 😕😕😕

Also, she wanted to know if I liked anyone at work? Also, the last time I talked with a girl I liked I think was legit 7 years ago 🥺🥺🥺 and now I don't talk to girl's at all. Besides coworkers 🙄

Yeah, it can be normal. Sometimes it was sad to reflect on how the product of my dating life was a long relationship with an abusive woman, after which I spent years alone to get myself ready to date again. But I didn’t let it get me down and spent the long time necessary getting myself ready to find a good woman. You are young and unencumbered by failed relationships. You know what to do and you know it takes time. Find your path and stay on it.
