‘I think that I will never find love’

How many times do you think about or tell this to yourself in a day? 10 times? 20 times? Let’s pick up 10 times ( for simplicity )

In a week, that’s about 70 times.

In a year, it is a whacking 3640 times.

In simple words, you really have been successful at planting the idea - ‘I will never find love’

And once the idea has taken hold of the brain, it’s hard to override it. It becomes automatic. Now, this thought - ‘I will never find love’ - pops up without any conscious effort

Sooner or later, you will find out, that it is your thinking process in this matter, that’s defective. You have to do something about it. You have to consciously change your way of thinking.

You can’t delete the idea - ‘I will never find love’. You can’t.

But, you can install a new idea - ‘I will find love’ or ‘I attract healthy & loving people into my life’ or ‘I am a magnet, I attract people’

Planting the idea is not cakewalk. You need to do something, that makes you believe in this idea. You can’t just sit at home & wait for things to happen can you?

Here’s an illustrative list :

Register for Online Dating & try out dating
Buy a pet ( if suitable )
Attend seminars, workshops, events etc ( expose yourself to a lot of people )
Start an initiative. Do something that you love to do & invest your energy there. This gives you a further chance of interaction with a wide variety of people. Also, your work will love you back
Visualize being loved. I mean like seriously.
Travel ( is possible ), sometimes crazy things happen
Spend time with your loved ones. I think you’ll feel a lot more loved
Read books. A lot of them. They will shape the way you think. Which will shape the way you are. Which will shape the way you think.

Do not try deleting the idea - ‘I will never find love’. Just blindly trust me on this one
Understand, that the present is the result of the thoughts you had in the past & the future is the result of the thoughts you have at this very nanosecond.

Well. I don’t know about giving up. But it’s fine to take a break for a time if you feel tired of it. Then if you start liking someone else later on. You will know you’re ready again

No, never give up, you are only 24 according to your profile. You will eventually find love and happiness, our younger years are about making mistakes and learning what is right for you, don't panic just because you are only meeting guys who aren't right for you.

You should never give up & when it comes to love it works in mysterious way. There might be times where you think you have a better chance of getting hit by lightning on a submarine but lightning can strike my friend.

Honestly. Searching for love is just the wrong mentality to have.

Its bad to go through life desperately wanting something because then you end up making irrational and emotional based decisions.

Its better to just find contentness with the simpler things of life.
