Why does it feel weird to be courteous and seductive as a man with the women you fancy in the UK?

I am a foreigner who lives in the UK and is looking for a partner and it just seems to me that people are either in very long-term commited relationships and you cannot approach them or are very straightforward and explicit and sleep around and they think you beat around the bush if you are subtle.

I think some are too direct. They just flirt in a very obvious way, which is not for me. I prefer implied seduction and even shyness. Being shy on dates, holding hands first, being reluctant with touches, taking it slow. What I've seen so far it's mostly people chatting a few minutes in pubs before making out. I just feel that you are deemed not more masculine enough and you would name me "hopeless romantic" if I am like that.

Public harassment offence as billed in December 2022, it's the beginning of the separation of the genders but they needed to make it illegal to approach first so no-one complains about the separation because it would in theory change nothing

That's not the point. I was saying that where I live most people just don't go on a couple of dates, walks by the river before they get together, they either get in a serious relationships after hooking up in the pub or they casually hook up with people from pubs.

That's the entire point hookups are accepted because prostitution is taxable income
