I was telling my mom that she was the prettiest woman in the country (despite her only saying bad things about me) and she looked up at my boyfriend and he gave her a suggestive look that implied “yeah you are”. It was like a diss to my face but he told me that he only did it to flatter her? Deep down im panicking a bit lol what do you guys think?

I wouldn’t get caught up on how your boyfriend responded in this awkward situation. He likely didn’t want to be present for this exchange anyway…. and was just looking for the easiest and quickest way to exit….

Be more confident in yourself…. Lack of self confidence/worth will cause you problems in all relationships until you get it worked out. It’s a personal growth thing (no one else can do it for you).
