What does it mean when the guy you talking too says you won’t ever find a perfect guy?

He’s just testing the waters, preparing you for a situationship, most probably wants you intimately without strings attached because there are “no perfect guys”, perfect guys exist, to be perfect is a choice only that most men choose not to, I choose not to for I don’t want to bare the cost. It’s a prior strategic warning shot for an easy exit because you would have entered in a relation knowing he isn’t and or it will not be perfect one.

That he thinks that you´re expectations in a guy are too idealistic. It could also mean that he thinks that there nobody will ever be a person that is a 100% partner for them that there are always difference that won´t fit together when two people meet each other to date.

Either he is pointing out that your standards are unrealistic, or your standards are realistic but he is subpar and he wants you to feel bad and lower them for him.

It means he thinks your standards are too high and you should lower them and make him the exception. A better idea is to not do that and to stop talking to him.
