Maybe he didn’t want to hurt your feelings. You can’t really be honest w women even if they say they want honesty. Maybe he was being honest. It’s possible he wasn’t interested in a serious relationship. There’s a good chance if you said you’d be open to an friends with benefits situation he’d take it. But on the other hand if he was telling the truth, maybe he realizes what a piece of garbage he is and that you don’t deserve to be treated the way he would treat another girl. But unlikely, a lot of us men are selfish when it comes to getting sex.
Yeah… I truly think he wanted sex… I told him in the beginning “place holder”… no sex just chat until you move on. He just made me feel like he wanted more … but I won’t put it all on him. I was doing too much bc I was hurt and didn’t want to let him in… but he was always level headed with me and brought logic to my chaos. That’s what attracted me to him and him asking what’s the safest way for him to interact with me..
We went on a date… I did mention that I would like to have sex when I’m married… and he asked when I was last intimate with someone.
He ghosted me after the date… he claims he didn’t
But eventually he did tell me “I don’t want to invest in something if we’re not going to eventually have sex”… we can check in every now and then.. (I was crying on the phone) he said he hopes I find a man who loves… yada yada
What’s a girls these days want g to be a “place holder.” Holy shit Batman, have respect for yourself. You’re like a doormat. If he’s not into you why would you even be ok w being a “place holder” chick. To me that shows a lack of self respect as well as low self-esteem.
