Hi everyone, I have been talking to a guy whose relationship ended a few months ago and he keeps talking about how she was the one. You think i should keep talking with him or it's better to end?

It is definitely better to end it, or at least you should put this on hold. He still has strong feelings if he is saying that "she was the one". He is not over her yet. You will always have it in the back of your mind that he is still in love with her.

A few months is not a long time to get over someone, especially if it was a strong (or long) relationship that he had with his ex. It takes time to get over something like that. People also move at different paces when it comes to getting over a past relationship.

Just from the little details provided, I do not think he is even close to be over her if he can still say she was the one. Getting involved with him now isn't going to be fair because he is not capable of devoting the time and attention to your relationship while still thinking about the past.

This doesn't mean you cannot revisit this down the road when he might be emotionally available for a new relationship. He has to get over this one first.
