Why are divorcees so unhappy?

its been my experience that the vast majority of divorcees are just really bitter people. The second highest ranked unhappy people are young widowers ( lost their spouses quite early in life in their 40s).

I am not sure why divorcees tend to be difficult with negative energy but I know what you are saying. One of my friends is like that and it’s mostly because he lost rather than anything else. He’s holding onto that poison he drank and STILL thinks it is hurting the other person. He kills a little more every month. It’s been a year after final settlement and kids exchanges and still carrying the 💩. It is difficult thing ‼️

Well for men it's because they lost their wife, rarely see their kids, lost their wives, lost their homes and now there's a new man ploughing their wife playing father to their kids while the get the privilege of funding it through child support and alimony.

For women it's really about regret that they intentiated the divorce and were cheating but realise the grass really isn't greener and that its hard to find a decent guy as they are damaged goods and no guy will trust them. Then there's the kids who despise their mother for what she did to their father and deliberately keeping them away from him. There's also the bitterness they feel if their ex husband is doing well without them especially if he has a younger hotter new girlfriend. He's supposed to be lost without her drinking his sorrows away begging her to come back even if she has no intrest in going back, he's supposed to wait as the back up guy. Eventually its because they threw away their marraige for nothing.

When you get divorced there must tbe a lot of feelings of failure or rejection. Then your life becomes much harder. One or both parties are usually forced into poverty and the effect on kids in incalculable. There is not much to celebrate.

Because their heats got broken in such a devastating way. Not a big surprise, especially if they had kids.
