Look. It seems like people seem to think showing genuine interest in someone is being desperate. Yeah if you’re being annoying or you keep pursuing someone who simply isn’t interested that’s a problem.
But refusing to show interest in someone is what will chase the man or woman you’re wanting to be with faster then anything. Especially if others are showing interest. He or she has other options.
If someone’a genuinely into you. They want you to show interest. At least for the most part.

It just simply means that they don't want to put forth any effort. People use that excuse now-a-days as an excuse not to try. It's much easier to make a hundred excuses then to actually put some work in.
If you like the person show interest that does not have to do with being desperate. Life too short to be waiting.
It's funny, girls are SO concerned about appearing 'desperate' when they aren't even close to it. Then when they actually ARE acting desperate the concern magically disappears.
